Seesaw - writing activity (Thoughtful Thursday - read the quote and explain what it means to you) *If you don't have a computer or tablet: I tried Lexia on a cell phone and it does work. It's a little tricky to log in. When you click on a box to type it gives a white screen. Just type on that screen, then click the keyboard button to go click on the next box. Also, Raz-Kids works on a cell phone. Read a leveled book and take a quiz. I will count that as an assignment. You have 2 assignments on Seesaw today:
1. Reading - watch the video, A Tale of Two Beasts, on www.storylineonline.net then compare and contrast the two points of view in the story 2. Writing - write a story from the point of view of a pet (it can be your pet or a pretend pet) *Let me know if you do not have access to Seesaw Today you have two assignments on Seesaw.
1. Read the passage "No Money? No Problem!" and complete the graphic organizer (problem and solutions) 2. Write a story about giving or receiving a special gift (make sure you read the instructions on Seesaw) THANK YOU to the students who are working hard to complete all assignments! Students, Make sure to complete ALL assignments daily. It is important that even though we are not in school, you continue to prepare for 6th grade. That includes not only working on improving your reading level and writing skills, but also becoming a more responsible student. It is your responsibility to check for and complete assignments daily.
